These pieces are painted on one eighth inch mahogany wood panels and backed with an 8" by 8" panel of 1/2" plywood.
Paints used are mostly acrylic and may include some other materials which are permanently affixed with a clear acrylic medium.
My purpose for this series is to explore many approaches to painting and to maintain a sense of spontaneity in the process.
I am calling them "Chips" because some of the first pieces reminded me of computer chips.
